New Interest Stack
Interest StacksThe OVA market dried up as straight to video releases became a thing of the past, which is unfortunate because a lot of interesting and unique anime were released in this format. The point of the list is to feature worthwhile OVAs that are more than just fanservice or shoddy extras for TV series. Sigh, due to the explicit content warning feature, I've excluded Mezzo Forte, but it would be on here otherwise. I should also probably make room for Yukikaze at some point. A selection of shows that centralizes on the idea of evil, whether as a direct presence or a symbolic representation, that revels in themes of hostility, corruption, debauchery and death that ultimately, cause the grievous and tragic collapse of one's sense of humanity. Due to its dark nature, this list is unfiltered and therefore, may display lurid elements that are problematic. But if you're here to seek the thrills of violence and the spills of blood, then witness the dance of the Devil. Horror intensived if such scenarios existed in real life or sometimes just for pure gore and violence, it can traumatize/terrify the weak minded. Make or Break your heart from this Horror Scarelist. Be on the edge of your seat from mind twisting plots, and creeps or at the edge of your heart from horror mixed romances and adventures. Every cinema or direct to video anime film that came out in 2000. All 2000s anime entries that mainly used cel animation, as opposed to digipaint, for all their episodes. I'm really fascinated by the idea of adapting old stuff but changing it in ways that make this new version more interesting than just a simple retelling. I'll update the list as more anime fitting it release Go Nagai is a Japanese manga artist and a prolific author of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and erotica. He made his professional debut in 1967 with Meakashi Polikichi, but is best known for creating Cutie Honey, Devilman, and Mazinger Z. |
