Voice actors sounds similar. Izaya's voice actor does Art but 'Nice's' voice too could have fitted in in Durarara just fine. Also, the jazz music...

Kids with superpowers are being 'abused' (as in: experimented on => eliminated) by the government.

Power and authority. These two concepts are recurring themes seen in both Re: Hamatora and K: Return of Kings. Should power be equally distributed among the masses or should it only be given to a selective few to prevent corruption and chaos? These two thought provoking questions are constantly being asked throughout both series. Opposing factions fight one another with the hopes of achieving their group or individual goals, but interestingly enough no group or individual is distinctively seen as heroic or villainous. The thought of being "good" or "bad" is seen as rather subjective and open to interpretation to the audience. The first season  read more

The main character befriends a helpless looking cat who is not all that he seems. It as the same sort of feel as Re hamatora

Both has a guy who wants to save the world by sacrificing himself. Though Code Geass has a darker tone than Re: Hamatora.

- Gay vibes despite the how trying to say it's straight - Hero's former best-friend becomes a villain who is only doing what he's doing to save his friend (owari no seraph) or the world (hamatora) -Character who had numerous experiments done on them by humans (the "good guys") is used as a trump card in final stages these two shows just made me think of each other. Both are a little bizarre and try to be more than they are. They are both entertaining enough and I liked them, so if you like one you should at least try the other

- Premise of the show is that they both have ESP-like powers - The main characters look similar to Art and Nice (which are the main characters for Hamatora) - Both shows have Anti-heros and fighting. This is the second season, which is more darker and reflects similar to Zettai Karen Children in a way.

Both Second seasons of shows that changed the status quo from the first season quite heavily (The Last Song more Re:_Hamatora) and go for darker tone overall. Both are welcomed improvements, but Re:_Hamatora's editing can be like driving a nail into your ear.

Both anime deal with "super powers" that are only given to a few of people. As usual there are those humans that are jealous of the contractors/minimum holders or even fear them. The main characters have friends that help them and even former friends that betrayed them at some point.

- Both are in the Shonen category - Main characters are working in pairs - They have the same jobs - Features special powers/abilities With the difference, Re;Hamatora have lolis, while Getbackers have big breasted lady.

A group of teenagers maintaining balance between two factions within a city. One of the factions is normal, while the other has powers or are spirits.

The show is similar to Tokyo ESP: - Contains a group of people who contain a certain power ("minimums" in Hamatora and "ESP (Extrasensory Perception)" in Tokyo ESP. - The people who contain the power are discriminated against leading them to hide among the ordinary. - A group of the "special" people come together. The way that they vary: - One consists of a "savior" trying to bring equality to all people. (Hamatora) - The other is overthrowing the humans and making them accept that they're weaker than them. (Tokyo ESP) If I am missing anything or something is wrong, shoot me a PM and I'll update it.

I was surprised that I enjoyed a vampire anime so much. I was nervous when I saw Staz's initial reaction to human Fuyumi, but after his stalkery interest in her went away, I warmed up to the anime. I originally tried it out because someone commented that the same voice of Nice in Hamatora is Staz Charlie Blood in Blood Lad. The characters are the most interesting part of this story. Definitely make sure to watch the OVA as well because this anime gears up in episode 10 and then drops you cold. -KH

You might think why these two are similar given their length in episodes but i felt the same elements when watching both: - Almost every important character has a special ability - Some of Bleach arcs had the same dark elements to Hamatora as a whole - Humor is the same with goofy characters interacting - Main character grows and is smart at times - Likeable side characters If you watch a few arcs of Bleach, it just feels comparable

Both are good/comedic detective series about people with peculiar powers used to aid society. Nonchalant pacing in the first season, plot deepens and gets more serious/dark in the second seasons. If you liked Hamatora you'll love Bungo.
