New Interest Stack
Interest StacksCollection of anime that focus on as a main theme or include visual, performing or literary arts that are considered a part of traditional Japanese culture. This stack is a collection of anime that are either set during summer or convey summer vibes (for example are set in a place next to the ocean). Anime that teaches the viewer about or creates interest in a subject. Focusing on more tangible topics, not something subjective or abstract like life lessons. On this stack , I will attempt to make a newcomer's entrance into the japanese animated medium as smooth as possible. By the end of this stack I'm hoping you will be a well enough rounded anime watcher to understand what you like and what you dislike, as well as having you experience anime that are very good and others not as good, for you to appreciate anime as it is rather than showing off only the gems when the chest is 80% full of rocks. I personally love Iyashikei anime. This anime genre is just heartwarming. A selection of shows that have a child (or child-like being) as part of the main cast. Wholesome isn't a gerne it's a feeling that one gets by watching a certain anime and I see you cherish that feeling. I have arranged some of the best wholesome or slice of life anime that I've seen to calm your stress. Father and mother―once you taught me Kansai-ben, Touhoku-ben, Hokkaido-ben, ... Japan is rich with their dialects, accents and expressions. I find certain charms to these and will try to maintain this stack adding animes involving some of these dialects. A list devoted to the subgenre of anime best described as propaganda to make the Japanese have babies. A selection of 21st century anime series featuring characters who are adults. From ordinary office workers to traveling peddlers to superheroes, adult protagonists can have a variety of life experiences and many different ways of living. Young emerging adults may still be trying to find their path in life, while established older folks are more likely to have mastered the art of adulting - or at least learned enough to muddle by. Some adults become jaded over time from repeated exposure to the reality that life is often painful, depressing, and unfair. Others retain a more positive outlook by focusing on their dreams for the future or take a more pragmatic approach by putting all their efforts into improving their lives here and now. Being purely evil or purely good is a misconception. You never know, but there are times someone has to sacrifice their good to become the villain. We always have some good and bad in us. So bad guys can have a conscience too. Each of the following are one of the most popular anime set in or heavily inspired by an associated Japanese prefecture. They are ordered from Hokkaido to Okinawa (roughly north to south). Shows/Movies of all kinds that are either meant for or can be enjoyed by an older audience. A treasure trove of excellence covering a wide range. Story-driven thrillers, well researched historical shows, brilliant world-constructions, poetic narrations, gripping thrillers, dark comedies, complex future visions, tightly packed action, avant-garde art, solid entertainment, tear-jerking dramas to light-hearted slices of lives. |
