New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() Interested in the genre? Despite what people might say, mecha is a rich character focused genre with a variety of incredibly unique stories to tell. Here's a collection of shows with short, straight-to-the-point descriptions about each. Note that some of these were translated by fans, and aren't available officially/legally. A good amount of these are available on various streaming services, tho as for all well you might have to sail the high seas a bit. Disregard my personal scores, as its subjective at end of the day and you might like it. Also please don't dismiss some of these just because they're really old, they pretty much all hold up well even today. Check each out, and see what strikes your fancy. Any shows I personally haven't watch I got info on from fellow mecha friends of mine: ![]() ![]() Made to make it easier to find animes whose names got changed when localised as there is no way to make the localised names show up as the search result. Does not include simple translations of the original name. ![]() ![]() Titles from the Mazinger Z series, either being sequels to the original anime or remakes/ reboots of it ![]() ![]() They might think they're cartoons, but they are actually anime! Perfect for showing your parents that you like the same things they do. ![]() ![]() Anime dubbed in italian which aren't marked as so on the database (as far as I know), if you know of other like these, tell me and I'll add them ![]() ![]() Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy: I wanted to add the most important but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies. ![]() ![]() The bottom 50 of the top 100 anime gathered from TV Asahi's Japan-wide survey, conducted with multiple age-groups, into the best animated series. ![]() ![]() Zima Entertainment is a Mexican distributor dedicated to distributing movies and series in theaters and home format, mainly only in their original language with subtitles. In this list you will find all the animes that they have distributed, both in home format and movie theaters. ![]() ![]() In 2012, The Asahi Shimbun announced the 104 TV anime that they considered to be the most representative and memorable of all TV anime between 1963 and 2012. It's a good starting point for exploring general TV anime history, and the shows are all worth giving a shot. The list was not ranked, and ordered by release date. ![]() ![]() These are the anime included in the very first Super Robot Wars game, on Game Boy. Also featured in its HD remake on PlayStation 3 and Vita. |
