Interest StacksSeries where stories don't follow a straight timeline, sometimes causing a bit of confusion in the viewers. Other times, it's almost negligible that the events occur out of order. Plot heavy stories that employ a non-chronological narrative leave it up to the viewer to piece the story together, which can be fun and rewarding! Critics & Connoisseurs was a club that was founded in 2008 and ended club activities on the 31st of 2022. A selection of animes with the USA as their main setting. Some anime do a better job depicting this setting than others. Some opt for a accurate as possible depiction, others take an idealized view, while others make you wonder if the creators have ever been to or even seen America. We've all experienced that frustrated feeling of enjoying an anime, only to find out that the rest of the show will never be fully animated or it has a horrible, rushed, incomplete, unsatisfying ending. Here is a list of anime with endings that are so fulfilling and complete that they will leave you with nothing but a heart full of contentment and/or bittersweetness. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have satisfying endings. Large casts that are lonely, that usually comes together in a big city. A Collection of Power-Fantasy Animes where the protagonist has no equal! This is the kind of stuff you'll want to show to your older relatives or a friend / significant other who isn't into anime in particular but is open to new experiences. Not necessarily to hook them on anime but simply to share a good time together. Prime examples of what I mean when I say "Best battles + strategic fights + cool characters sorta animes" are 'World Trigger' and 'Kingdom'. Anime with jazzy James Bond-esque OPs/EDs. Anime that has the smoothest animation/art style that you shouldn't miss. Something with many frames per second as well as beautiful, vibrant colors, that you don't have a single moment where you'll feel bored. Surreal anime that have an upbeat tone! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, this is basically a list of all my favorite anime. Anything I give a 9 automatically gets on this list, but only the entry from each franchise I liked the most. Feel free to try and watch every single anime on this list. Shows/Movies of all kinds that are either meant for or can be enjoyed by an older audience. A treasure trove of excellence covering a wide range. Story-driven thrillers, well researched historical shows, brilliant world-constructions, poetic narrations, gripping thrillers, dark comedies, complex future visions, tightly packed action, avant-garde art, solid entertainment, tear-jerking dramas to light-hearted slices of lives. This is a list of anime that Quentin has either watched and liked or anime that he would most likely enjoy, based on his filmography of non-linear narratives and overall taste of foreign movies, for example. |
