New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() After watching just about all of the OVAs released in the 1980s, I rated (or plan to rate) all of these OVAs a 7 or above and consider them to be the best of the bunch. ![]() ![]() ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ ![]() ![]() The new anime release format that appeared in the mid-80s brought new opportunities for studios and various works began to be released on videotapes. Some of them were frankly terrible, but some became classics with a recognizable style and aesthetics. I bring to your attention works worth viewing. ![]() ![]() This is an early list that I made and quite frankly it's a mess, I decided to make a more comprehensive thematic series, check them out: ![]() ![]() Mecha? Super robot? Real robot? Androids? Cyborgs? Mechanical suits? All of them, fuck it. All have their merits and should be appreciated by all. Only really recommending stuff I have seen or have general enough knowledge of! (i'm pretty new to this sorry) ![]() ![]() List of anime with attractive aesthetics and story for young and old. They stand out for having a western or remarkable visual aesthetic from the rest. ![]() ![]() This list includes arthouse/avantgarde anime movies, so that's anything over 50 minutes, for example: Angel's Egg, Mindgame, Belladonna of Sadness. ![]() ![]() Featuring little to no dialogue and/or characters and the experience is carried by the music and/or visual atmosphere. ![]() ![]() Welcome to my Obscurity series, which I hope will help you delve deeper into the depths of anime, particularly the classics. ![]() ![]() This is a collection of anime that I think is important/useful, or just inspiring in terms of its animation. If you are looking to study animation or simply want to appreciate the craft, this stack is for you. ![]() ![]() Grupinho de amigos vendo filmes aleatórios ![]() ![]() In the dawn of the digital age, many creators have expressed their hopes and fears about technology and its influence on human society through science fiction anime, creating many interesting interepretations of what our future could be (or even what our present is) with regards to the ever accelerating integration of technology into our lives. ![]() ![]() ...high tech, low life ![]() ![]() Back before moe blobs, harems, fanservicey slices-of-life, academia settings, and copy-paste isekai took over the world. Back when anime was less sterile and less safe. ![]() ![]() The 1990s are considered a golden age for Japanese anime. Anime series and OVAs that have had a lasting impact on the evolution of anime style and culture. |
