Doroku (土6), a shortened name for the 6 p.m. time slot on Saturdays, was Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) and its sister network Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS)'s programming block. Doroku was first launched in October 2002, however, the first anime series to air on the block was in July 1993. The block ended was replaced by Nichigo in April 2008. Series that range around 11 episodes to 26 episodes and have already reached their finale. Taking into account 2nd parts for the 26 ones. Only series that are ranked below 2,000 in 'Popularity' on MAL. Japan has waged countless wars within its territories and beyond her shores for thousands of years now, and in anime we can see some of the perspectives, interpretations and depictions the Japanese people have developed with regards to this topic. The Year 24 Group (24-nen Gumi/Nijuuyonen Gumi, also called the Fabulous Year 24 Group/Hana no 24-nen Gumi or the Magnificent Forty-Niners), is a group of manga artists who rose to prominence in the early 1970s. They are credited with introducing complex themes such as psychology, sexuality, and politics into shoujo manga, which until that point was primarily simple stories for little girls written by men who would migrate to male demongraphics as they gained notability. These animes are either underrated or it doesn't get enough attention it deserves. There seem to be a lot of ways to watch anime but sometimes there are certain outliers that don't make their way to any legal streaming service OUTSIDE OF JAPAN (these criteria are mainly made using LiveChart.me as they list official streaming services to view anime and The Streamable), this stack aims to shine a light on these series, however, some rules are to be followed: Anime series where everyone or majority of the cast dies (and remains dead). Only including the main title (not including sequels if any). idk how else to describe it, there's just something to them that captivates me. often involving action, mechas, powerful (often female) leads with interesting characterization. they really don't make anime like they used to... Remember when the word "Remake" had a good connotation? This list aims to compile remakes that had a good reception from audiences, and in some cases, a better reception. |
