For people who like ships, particularly warships, then you are not familiar with ship girls on the anime of this list.

These anime were showing girls with warships from the WW2 era. All of the warships were taken from historical ships. Their class of ships are destroyer, cruiser, battleship, etc. They do not only have superpower weapons, but they also have a cute appearance.

I will only add entries that have different MCs into this stack even if it's the same anime.

These shows are my all-time favourites that only feature female characters as main casts. Sure, some of them will just boil down to "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things", but don't let that keep you away from watching these and just relax - just settle down on your chair, wet from your swamp ass.
Also, I decided to just include shows with male characters as well, so the title is kinda clickbait, huh? :P

Shows where ships play some fairly notable part in the story. Stack is biased toward ocean-going vessels. Submarines are also included.

Popularly, these anime are also often referred to as waifu or hasubendo bait shows due to the large number of attractive characters that the adaptation advertises to entice you to download the game.
