Both involve using monsters to fight and have collectable card games and such. also both based on video games. Though blue dragon has a more interesting story (not vastly) and reaches some sort of conclusion rather then just dragging it on and on for many years. It also has characters designs by the man who made dragonball and music from the composer of final fantasy games which should hopefully get you interested

Both have some type of beasts, one has digital monsters as trusty side kicks, one has a shadow beast but both beasts are combat worthy yet friendly with a sense of humor Both have a simple (not so simple if you watch them but...) light vs darkness scenario Both have a "Friendship is power" feel to them Both have epic feel battles and great finales Both make the finales very very "all hope is lost" in one way or another

Shadows and Stands are very similar. But everything else are pretty different. Jojo's have a lot of blood and tense feelings, Blue Dragon is more childish and funny.

At first glance they probably don't look like they have anything in common but both have similar characters two boys who both have incredible power in the form of a beast in them that they didn't know about. They learn about their power due to another intervention whose interested in helping them become stronger and helping them learn how to control the power. Both shu and naruto interest in becoming stronger leads them to find a rival in their team mate. jiro and sasuke both have a painful past that motivates them to fight so the can gain revenge.
