New Interest Stack
Interest StacksSpacetoon (Arabic: سبيستون or سبيس تون) is a pan–Arab free–to–air television channel that specializes in animation and children programs mainly from Japan. It began broadcasting on 15 March 2000 and it is headquartered in Dubai, UAE with offices in Riyadh. The channel targets children from 4 and up and is for the family. Its late night block Space Power is targeted at teenagers and young adults. As the title says, we have a long lost channel that aired some really great anime back in the early 2000's. For a lot of kids back in the day it was the first contact with this media. Back in the day some anime repeated in and endless incomplete loop because they haven't the whole seires, but still was worth watching. Classic 20th-century series and films that most old-school otaku have heard of and many older fans will cite as the reason they became a life-long weeb in the first place. Some have gotten sequels or modern reboots, while others have been relegated to the past and stand alone as fondly-remembered products of their time. If you want to take a journey through anime history, these shows are the place to start! This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). No. 67 is Let's Go COOKR'n and it started on April 1st, 2013 and ended on March 20th, 2015 with 196 episodes. Anime series produced before 2000s with a fair amount of scenes depicting Japanese cities in the '80s or'90s providing a remarkable nostalgic feeling, both cities centre or especially suburbs and residential areas. Kansai-ben, Touhoku-ben, Hokkaido-ben, ... Japan is rich with their dialects, accents and expressions. I find certain charms to these and will try to maintain this stack adding animes involving some of these dialects. Any Shounen Anime involving Ghosts, Monsters, Aliens and other paranormal scenarios. A list of the most popular and well known tsunderes. Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy: I wanted to add the most important but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies. [Please let me know of any errors] Animes that had been aired on any Filipino major channel (ABS-CBN, GMA, TV5 etc.). Not included are the shows that only aired on Animax-Asia. Anime with girls, who really, really, really, really, REALLY like someone, but too tsundere to admit it, if that’s what you want. |
