Interest StacksWorldbuilding - "the process of constructing a world, originally an imaginary one, sometimes associated with a fictional universe." These kinds of shows are usually set in a fantasy and/or sci-fi world, and excel at establishing & showcasing the rules/history/economy of their fictional universe. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have great world building. With the intention of keeping this as comprehensive as possible, I encourage anyone reading to help me find more anime and update the text, particularly of those anime I haven’t watched. You can comment this publication in my profile or send me suggestions/alternative text via PM. ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓴 ✦ 𝓑𝓻𝓸𝔀𝓷 𝓲𝓷 𝓐𝓷𝓲𝓶𝓮 ⟨⟨ 𝔉𝔦𝔯𝔰𝔱 𝔈𝔡𝔦𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 ⟩⟩ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ Spacetoon (Arabic: سبيستون or سبيس تون) is a pan–Arab free–to–air television channel that specializes in animation and children programs mainly from Japan. It began broadcasting on 15 March 2000 and it is headquartered in Dubai, UAE with offices in Riyadh. The channel targets children from 4 and up and is for the family. Its late night block Space Power is targeted at teenagers and young adults. On this stack , I will attempt to make a newcomer's entrance into the japanese animated medium as smooth as possible. By the end of this stack I'm hoping you will be a well enough rounded anime watcher to understand what you like and what you dislike, as well as having you experience anime that are very good and others not as good, for you to appreciate anime as it is rather than showing off only the gems when the chest is 80% full of rocks. shows with main characters that are aromantic or aromantic-coded! (keep in mind that aromanticism is a spectrum that includes the romance-repulsed and those that experience absolutely no attraction, but is not limited to that) The entire One Piece anime franchise: the anime series and every movie, special and OVA, in release order. No recap, music videos or trailers included. If you've gotten tired or bored with the common trope of the main character trying to get stronger to save something or somebody. If you just want to take a breather and take a break without worrying about the main character for a while - although I can't guarantee it for all of them - this list is for you (one entry per series - no sequels, etc.). These are only a few of all out there and I ran out of space, so if I missed one, I'm so sorry! Anime that stray from the typical otaku tropes (female fanservice, overly moe girls, performative yuri, harems etc). A small collection of Anime that aired in the late 90s / early-mid 2000s on German television. Let's face it, we all have that one friend who has a prejudice against anime. |
