Both have a magical girl. Both have a princess. Both have a mission to finish. And BOTH HAVE MEN~

They aren't similar because of the story, but they are for the background music: Kenji Kawai is the same composer and the splendid music we can listen in "Hime-chan no Ribon" is like that of "Aka-chan to boku".

Both cute adorable girls, daichi and akito are very similar trouble makers, similar art style, both really funny yet dramatic, tear jerkers, gosh they're both really similar trust me on this

Hime-chan no Ribbon and Himitsu no Akko-chan are two long-running mahou shoujo anime concerning young heroines who acquire shape-shifting abilities by way of magical items (Hime-chan, a ribbon; Akko-chan, a mirror).

Optimistic magical girl anime, although slightly more serious in tone and more love focused, from the same period. Both feature multiple key characters coming from a magical kingdom, a cute mascot pet and a magical transformation item. If you want an anime with people trying to be the best they can, give this one a try.

Miyu and Kanata from Daa Daa Daa both remind me of Daichi and Himeko as they are always seen fighting as a way to show their "affections" for each other. Both male main characters in both animes also always teases the female main characters. PLUS there are both cute small kid couples in both anime and not to mention Wanya and Pokota are similar in ways. Both anime includes school life and the joy of hanging out with friends :)

Even if the magical girl is not directly involved on Earth, she gives a magical ribbon to a normal and clusmy girl, who resembles Nina. Moreover, the magical girl gives the ribbon to test her skills since she'll become the queen of her kingdom. It's also funny and there's some romance.

Hime-chan came out in 1992 a year before miracle girls. Hime-chan is about a girl who is given a magical ribbon with powers from a girl who looks just like her twin in the magical kingdom. What makes this show and miracle girls similar is they are both shows about twins with powers and going through young girlhood problems such as school, boys, etc.. in a magical way.

Both are fluffy sweet shows that are much deeper than they first appear, with great heroines and their struggles with romance and new found magic.

Magical girl series that deal with the girls using their newfound powers to solve problems and help out their friends, not fighting evil. While they appeal to a young audience, they also have enough of a serious plot to interest older viewers who don't mind a little bit of cuteness in their anime.

They are both cute and funny mahou shoujos from the early 90s.

Done in the same art style, and although it's got a magical girl in it, the amount of drama and love between couples is still pretty much the same.

Both about magical girls that were both made in the 90's they are very similiar to eachor due to the fact guys fight over both of the leading girls ,and they are amateurs at using magic also they have have mean girl characters that consider them rivals in love. What the big differences are is that Akazukin Chacha is more a light hearted, slap stick, fantasy adventure, story and Hime-Chan is more of a school, magic, love story.

Fancy Lala and Hime-chan No Ribbon are both mahou shoujo series that aren't heavy in the "magical" area, but are still quite girly. The two series are more focused on the daily problems we face; and they show that life isn't easy, even if we have magic. I definitely think that both titles have a similar direction sense. There's some hints of romance, and the main characters are both naive, but strong-minded. Hime-chan No Ribbon and Fancy Lala will give you a great lingering impression.
