New Interest Stack
Interest StacksAnime that contain the otherworldly and enigmatic beings from space! These anime have bizarrely unique, wildly niche, or oddly specific concepts. From sentient clothes, to vampires in space, to undead idols, some of these anime may leave you wondering, "who even came up with this idea?..." List of Original Anime Series' (not including sequels/specials/movies) Anime featuring dysfunctional protagonists who shut ins/NEETs look up to, in other words, anime that feature "sigma" men and women. These characters can be seen as positive role models to a certain extent, given their resistance to social norms and pressures. SBS - the free to air channel with actual international content that everyone either spends 5 minutes watching or 3 hours watching, no in-between. They used to air a fair bit of anime alongside their normally scheduled programming, and you might even be able to catch a few Ghibli films every now and then today. Anything with visually appealing art that makes you go stunned and will make you never want to look away from that scenery, and can be used as your background wallpaper. This is a list of anime that Quentin has either watched and liked or anime that he would most likely enjoy, based on his filmography of non-linear narratives and overall taste of foreign movies, for example. Very few stories can craft a setting that leaves a memorable impression, in fantasy fiction creators tend to fall back on safe and familiar settings which to me is always a missed opportunity in a story. These are anime that go above and beyond to envision and breathe life into unique and inspired worlds. A significant artistic effort is put into the locations, technology, vehicles, clothing, props, and architecture of these anime and have been masterfully crafted to facilitate these stories. I once made a list of Jazzy soundtracks I found in anime so I decided to put it here. Feel free to send me any suggestions. My favorite animes that should give just about everyone a least one or two good laughs. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). |
