New Interest Stack
Interest StacksAnime that contain the otherworldly and enigmatic beings from space! Anime with great worldbuilding, or the development of the fantastical environment and world! None of these anime take place in what you would call 'our universe', rather taking place in an alternative universe or fantasy/ sci-fi setting with amazingly well-tailored and fitting details in technologies and architecture that makes every world unique. The parameters for this list are as follows: This list includes arthouse (gonna strech this term in this list) that are have multiple episodes that from one story, so compilations like Neo Tokyo or Genius Party will not be in here. The OVA market dried up as straight to video releases became a thing of the past, which is unfortunate because a lot of interesting and unique anime were released in this format. The point of the list is to feature worthwhile OVAs that are more than just fanservice or shoddy extras for TV series. Sigh, due to the explicit content warning feature, I've excluded Mezzo Forte, but it would be on here otherwise. I should also probably make room for Yukikaze at some point. A curated list of series and shorts that span no more than 15 minutes, but satisfies your entertainment all the same. Arranged in color-coordinated rows because nothing makes lists look more appealing than a uniform order, trust me. LITERALLY kino...... do not even question the kino bro >:( part 1: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/37073 Pretty much what it says on the tin. The civilizations may live in peace or have wars against each other. The trope where humans and the aliens are actually created by the same entity or the aliens being otherwise related to humans are included too, but not mentioned as that may be spoiler territory. |
