A medium for varied and complex approaches to storytelling.   This is an early list that I made and quite frankly it's a mess, I decided to make a more comprehensive thematic series, check them out:   list of psychological, strange and experimental anime.   Art house, in relation to cinema, is a genre of films that are intended to be serious artistic works rather than merely popular entertainment but the descriptor can also be applied to anime. Furthermore, avant-garde refers to innovative, experimental, radical or unorthodox concepts and techniques. This can of course also be used in reference to anime and manga.   List of anime with attractive aesthetics and story for young and old. They stand out for having a western or remarkable visual aesthetic from the rest.   Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy.: I wanted to add the most important stuff but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies.   Do you want to watch anime so artsy that will either relate to the deepest part of your soul or completely confuse you?   Featuring little to no dialogue and/or characters and the experience is carried by the music and/or visual atmosphere.  varying levels of surreal imagery, fluid animation, mixed media, unusual aesthetics, or just plain avant garde   In the dawn of the digital age, many creators have expressed their hopes and fears about technology and its influence on human society through science fiction anime, creating many interesting interepretations of what our future could be (or even what our present is) with regards to the ever accelerating integration of technology into our lives.     This is a list of movies from the 90's till late 2020's. 99% are stand alone, otherwise, enjoy.   Most anime come in 12 or 24 episodes with stories that are interconnected to one another,but there are some shows that has an independent story or lossly connected stories these interest stack is meant to mention some the many shows with such episodes   Adaptations that share nothing with their source material but the title, some characters' names, and maybe even the premise, to the point you could change the title and no one would tell it's an adaptation. Back when anime was less sterile and less safe.  Vaporwave is a music and visual aesthetic that emerged in the early 2010s and is characterized by its use of samples from 80s and 90s pop culture, creating a nostalgic and dreamlike atmosphere. While there is no specific genre of anime that is vaporwave, many anime series and films have been noted for using certain elements that have made them popular among vaporwave enthusiasts.
