Kidou Senshi Gundam MS IGLOO: Mokushiroku 0079

The first episode of MS IGLOO: Apocalypse 0079 is similar in many ways to the hopeless battle against innumerably greater odds that is seen in SnK, starting by how it involves humans fighting awesome giants. In the first episode, the protagonist fights against giant war mechs with only anti-tank weaponry. The machines they encounter are only grunt enemies in other Gundam shows, but in this the Zaku is a terrifying giant with power to kill squads of people at once. This dynamic will be enjoyed if one likes SnK, but it could be said that this show pulls the feeling off even better. The other two episodes are less similar to SnK, but the tension remains and there is still no character who is safe. read more
