Although Neon Genesis Evangelion is a mecha anime and Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS is a mahou shoujo, I actually found many similarities between the two shows. For starters, both anime take place in a futuristic city, and the main characters are involved with a Sci-Fi military base. Many scenes are dedicated to training/testing and life around the military base, but throughout each series there are times where the characters must use high-tech equipment to complete a mission. Also, both shows are very "talky": we can see characters in high positions discuss plans and relay information, but also all of the characters are seen chatting about everyday  read more

Both involve futuristic combat within a specific organization as well as similar story progression. Both series also center around two female heroines with special abilities that get stronger as the story progresses.

Similar genres, both are magical girl shows

Both qualify as magical girl shows. Both have a TON of characters, way more than can be fully fleshed out and kept track of in the number of episodes given, but it does make things interesting. Both start off slow but have epic, action-packed battles in the 2nd half of the show.

Well, there are similarities between the Third season of the Nanoha Franchise and Psycho-Pass you may enjoy: -Cool talking weapons, sci-fi elements (No magic in Psycho-Pass anyway, and the idea of Cross Mirage and Dominator readily comes to my mind) -Society is in a level where it's commonplace -Strong action sequences -Great characters (I relate Teana to Akane lol) Tbh, you may find more, but that's to name a few.

Both are sequel series that take place several years from their predecesor series. They both are great sci-fi with great stories if you have watched this series I would have to recomend you Gundam 00 Season 1 and 2

The entire Birdy franchise and the Nanoha franchise are very similar. Comparison can be made between the Time-Space Bureau and the Federation Police. One deals with interdimentional crime related to magic and lost technology. The other deals with galactic crimes with aliens and lost technology. Both involves these dangerous technology being implemented on the characters.

Both deal with advanced Technology with advanced mech magic giving them both a much darker story which is a unique change of pace of the averge magical girl animes. Striker S is the 3rd season of the Nanoha Franchise which has a very similar darker military mech story much like My Hime, both use miliary advanced weapon summon skills, plasma lazers, ect.

If you like Nanoha there is a very good chance you would like Symphogear, as well. Both of these shows take inspiration from the Mecha and Magical Girl genres with heavy focus on action and characters. Both also have Nana Mizuki star in a main role ( Fate in Nanoha and Tsubasa in Symphogear) and sing the opening themes. Of course, as tradition for this type of anime, they are both very gay.
