Synopsis

The awkward lovebirds, Yuuta Togashi and Rikka Takanashi are now living together as they enter a new school year, but their adorable relationship remains stagnant. Yuuta struggles to adapt to having a chuuni girlfriend while the gang—Sanae Dekomori, Shinka Nibutani and Kumin Tsuyuri—are still keeping up with their quirks despite having advanced a grade. Making matters worse, another chuuni girl from Yuuta's middle school, Satone Shichimiya, appears...

With the various events revolving around Yuuta, will he be able to develop his relationship with Rikka?

This anime has left me emotionally drained, but in the best possible way.

Season 1 was amazing, but Season 2 took it to a whole new level. The introduction of Shichimiya was a game-changer. I mean, who wouldn't love another chuunibyou cutie? Her dynamic with Rikka was instant magic, and I loved how their shared "8th Grade Syndrome" created a bond between them.

But what really got me invested was how Shichimiya's arrival affected Yuuta and Rikka's relationship. I won't lie, I was worried it might create unnecessary drama, but the writers nailed it. The tension and jealousy were palpable, but ultimately, it strengthened Yuuta and Rikka's ...

Mixed Feelings
This left me feeling...empty. unfinished. definitely wanting. it's like they intentionally left it incomplete.

you get the point.

second year kids still acting in a fantasy world like they are is a bit of a stretch for me. if they were like MS, it would be believable. I think my biggest problem were some of the characters that went along with them as the days past on. they brought down the best ones in the show.

Rika - I love Rika, I really do, but the fantasy part needs to be dialed back from 10 to 5. she'd be more realisitic and able to attempt to communicate with ...

I've never given a series a review before, but for this, I feel like I have to.

The first season of Love Chuunibyou was, to me, a brilliant show, it had a defined and playful sense of humour (even if it wasn't for everyone), an overwhelming sense of atmosphere granted by KyoAni's incredible animation and a loveable cast of characters; but above that, all of this was in service to a deeply touching message about growing up, facing trauma and and embracing your childish side. we got to watch our favourite characters get challenged in a meaningful way, forced to evolve and mature as people. I ...
