First of all, it's from the same creator and artist, Koge Donbo and Kamichama Karin has some voiceactors who also voices characters from Pita Ten. Kamichama Karin has the same happy cuteness as Pita Ten and both shows have a lot of similairities. Everyone who likes cute and magical girl stuff should watch it ^_^

It has ultra cute characters and comedy. If your a fan of those kind of anime? then I highly recommend it to you.

Both series feature an angel who does more harm than good, and a demon who does more good than harm, with a healthy dose of resultant humor.

In some ways the endings are quite similar. Both animes have main characters trying to follow their wish; In Pita Ten its Misha trying to become and angel, in Kobato its Kobato trying to get to a place she wants to go to. Both main character have very long hair and are very cute. Both have a male character who dislike the main character but softens up to her, In Kobato its Fujimoto, in Pita Ten its Kotarou.

Both about a group of people trying to do one thing or another, and kind of more of an anime made for girls

Many of the characters in Air seem to be similar to those in Pita Ten. There's the mysterious girl, like Shia, and there's the hyperactive one with a strange past, like Misha. The storyline is also slightly similar, although Air has a darker side to it than Pita Ten. I love the mixture of romance and fantasy in both series.

It's made by the same person(Koge Donbo) and both anime has a similar plot: a magical being who trains hard to become a full-fledged magical being.
