This special is a small arc from Kokoro Connect series which just like Kotoura-san focuses on mind reading and problems it can cause.

both are romance though relife isnt supernatural both focus on helping the characters figure thmeselves out and sort any issues thay had in there past both are slice of life school and drama only difference is that kokoro connect is focused on helping the main characters who are actual high school students to sort out there past issues as for relife it si for helping grown ups fix past mistakes and fixing their future

Both involve sharing true inner thoughts. Both balance comedy and drama. Kokoro has 3 more characters (5 altogether) who are further developed by the preceding 12 episodes.

Like Minorin.. She truly rejects someone where Ryuuji founds out the truth but in this one Taichi was the one who got dumped Through this arc which is now focuses on Nagase's Story... through pretending and acting all nice.. until she show her true false self... with negative emotion.. Neither the story goes on.. her progression just like Minorin as a companion... to Ryuuji... She believes that... her love remains burden like she felt before

Michi Random is like some stories in Jigoku Shoujo, which play on teenagers' feelings each other. The shows contains kidnaps and bullied girls, but Jigoku Shoujo is a lot darker and deeper.

Watching these two anime in a row is kind of painful (in an emotional way). Both are relating to holding/hiding your pain into yourself, though they take a different course in each anime
