For one reason, both have the most popular traps in anime!

A girl enters a clique, and later some similar events happen in both anime. Both feature much school life and slice-of-life.

-both male protagonists befriends magical girls -both have somthing negative against magic -both of them have met one of the other main characters as a child -both of the guys have hidden powers

Both are based off eroge PC games. Both are mahou shojo and both are 12 episodes. With Nanatsuiro Drops--it's hard to tell it's from an eroge video game though.

Both have a type of magic, and both are school related Anime's and simular characters actually as I'm watching both, I get confused in the stories between them.. maybe it's me

1. The outfits of the magic girls have simular detail. 2. The anime has a build up to the climax at the end, then a mellow addition at the end. 3. The characters are very unique.

Both have talking magical ''wands'', don't know how I should call it. Example: Raging Heart, Suprano and more. They both use magical fields and have aphorisms. I think that some of you might like the other, the stories are very different, I admit, but they have small things that are alike. If you see those details, you'll like it. Another thing that I must say is that Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha is better, it has better soundeffects and more fights then Happiness! Btw: Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, the first season, isn't the best. If you kinda liked it, watch the second season!! Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha  read more

Both are about witches, or magical girls. Both are about finding the truth of something. Both are extremely detailed, though Mahou Shoujo Tai Arusu tends not to have the normal style.

Both take place in a high school setting, both have a boy character who crossdresses as a girl, one because he has to, one because he wants to. Also, both happen to have supernatural events happen. In Happiness! it is magic based while St. Luminous Mission High School is mysterious disaperances. They have slightly different flavors, but they are still nice.

Both series start as simple high school romantic comedies composed of various character focus episodes and mini-arcs and eventually switch over to serious, high-stakes drama and varying levels of angst. Happiness! is pretty much just Myself ; Yourself with magical girls -- by-the-book harem setup, generic insert-self-here protagonist, obligatory twins, and all.

Girls can pack a punch too, compared to the many sci-fi where it's the guys packing the punch. Bright colors, Gothic under tone, intricate details in the design and lovable characters.

Da Capo and Happiness are somewhat similar because of the characters. However, in Happiness, there's no harem or what, just magic, and the drama isn't that deep. Also, in Happiness and Da Capo, you can see the friendsdhip of the characters there, so it's really similar...
