Interest Stacks  Anime adaptations of various visual novels. Their total number is clearly more than the allowable limit, so I tried to add mainly adaptations of novels by well-known brands (Key, 5pb, Aquaplus), or those with well-known adaptations. Given the many sequels, spin-offs, and versions (especially in the case of the Fate series), I added only very first anime in the franchise.     Anime characters who actually get married! Future marriages (e.g. manga, sequel) not included. Not necessarily romance.  Anime based on Visual Novels and Games   Anime that suffer from a considerable drop in animation quality in at least one episode. This can vary from weird looking faces to changing animation technique, using cutouts to make up or making an episode with basically no animation.   NOT an exhaustive list. 50 TV anime adapting visual novels/ eroge with a male protagonist, usually with romance or a harem. Went for a generic sample, excluded series too exceptional/ distinct (Higurashi, Fate/Stay Night, ef: A Tale of Memories., etc.). 5k members minimum.   Action romance anime that have a pretty conclusive and happy ending.   Non-pornographic anime based on hentai media. In this list, one show per franchise will be listed unless there is also pornographic animation for said franchise.       Anime adaptions that are based on Visual Novels, and the Visual Novels have been translated to English. Also Eroge, Bishoujo Game/Galge, Otome Game, Nakige/Nukige tag.   Even though these animes are based on Eroges, Japanese visual novels that contain sexual content, said content has been toned down or removed. |
