Doroku (土6), a shortened name for the 6 p.m. time slot on Saturdays, was Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) and its sister network Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS)'s programming block. Doroku was first launched in October 2002, however, the first anime series to air on the block was in July 1993. The block ended was replaced by Nichigo in April 2008. Adult Swim (stylized as [adult swim] or abbreviated as [as]) is an American timeshare cable television network bundled with Cartoon Network. The programs featured on Adult Swim are geared toward teens and young adults. Broadcast since 2001, much of the network's general content is known for its risqué, unorthodox and often bizarre presentation, while many of the series' features are developed in stark contrast with traditional American television programs. The block features stylistically varied animated and live-action shows including original programming, syndicated shows and Japanese anime, generally with minimal or no editing for content. Do you believe in what you see or see what you believe? What is the truth and what is the lie? Is anyone benefiting from the lies and who is struggling from the truth? If everyone believes in a lie, does the lie become the truth? What happens if what you think is wrong has been the right one all along? Will you switch sides, or will you stay? "When it's time for business, get the hell out of my way. If it means creating a path filled with blood and death, so be it." Humans are complex creatures, unpredictable animals despite how civilised they may be. Here's a list that presents how environments around us can influence a person to release its natural instincts that lay dormant inside. While many of the best anime series are based on popular manga, some of them are entirely original. Believe it or not, some of the best anime have nothing to do with manga at all, and some even got a manga adaptation after they were aired or while they were in production. Compiled here are non-manga-based anime that you need to add to your watchlist as soon as possible. Some of them are classics that you might have watched and re-watched many times before, while others are a bit more unknown. Shows that have female Vampires as main or supporting characters. I see this story pattern in anime where young people under 18 who are, not so enthusiastically, made to save the world/a crisis in their storylines. Here’s some anime that fit this trope. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). It's scary and bloody time. High quality of action horror anime that will give you chills!! One of my favorite anime tropes! A list of anime that primarily feature badass women protagonists who learn, grow and hold their own. As fanservice free as possible, though mature themes are prevalent. Anime set in Okinawa or related to it in some way. Here is a list of the best animes I have seen, within these subgenres. Brooding Anime are those that ask the big questions, and may or may not try to provide an answer. Does life have meaning, or are we all just dancing in God's Palm? Frequently these anime will have either a melancholic or ambiguous ending. If you know of any others please let me know by sending me a message, or leaving me a comment. |
