It has vampires and both the main character and Alucard look strangely alike. Black Blood, however, is more concerned with the nature of vampires, although it also has its share of awesome fight scenes. WATCH IT!

Do you like the dark vampire anime series like Blood+? Then you should definitely try Black Blood Brothers. The brothers are just like Saya, and it is worth watching.

* Both has «Special Zones/Islands» for inhuman creatures (vampires/werewolves..etc) * Both has Vampire & Human girl as main characters (male vampire & human girl...) * Lots of action in every episode...( damn, those vampires!!! ) * Really nice OST's ( one of the strongest point of both series ) * Idk, just BBB seems more epic...(StB seems to suffer with too much characters)..

If you liked this anime then you must watch Trinity Blood. They both have same theme : co-existence of humans and vampires

both are vampire story´s , although i pefer the last vampire WAY more than black blood brothers as an masterpiece, still both are simmilarity in the ´vampire ´genre and earned their name, Especially Blood, the last vampire.

I haven't watched either in years. But when i saw the picture of Gun X Sword, BBB quickly came to mind. While Gun X Sword shows growth, BBB seems to show decline. Other than that, from my memory, they were pretty similar.

Both have plots about a man who fights against demons (or in the case of Black Blood Brothers, evil vampires). Both are very heavy on the action and gore, yet still contain some tender-like moments as well. Both are highly recomended!

Both are about an vampire with long dark hair that both use a sword and they both have to fight to control their blood lust. They also have a pretty female sidekick in each. Black Blood Brothers has a bit more of a comedic side while Vampire Hunter D is a bit more serious.

Older brother protecting the younger, great fight scenes, and pretty much awesome all-around.

a group of (monsters) fight to help humans even tho they are afraid of them.

Both are about vampires, shiki is more bloody, but it shows vampires struggling to find their place in the world (by less peaceful means). I also recommend this from black blood brothers because Im sure lots of people might not even notice shiki or think its a vampire anime, because I didnt.

Both of them are the same too, where both of the main characters are undead and they involve killing their own race/other.

An inhuman man fights other inhuman creatures with the aid of a young woman backed by an organization and their oddball allies. Quirky urban fantasy stories with a violent edge.

Here in lies to vampire Anime where the vampires vary from the norm in some way, shape or form. Both turn out to be rather nice Anime to watch, so all that ends well. On top of this, they have simular styles, though one leans more towards red color schemes and the other a more feminine color scheme.

Immortals, switches between multiple timeframes, and some truly awesome stylish violence.

Vampires in a semi-post-apocalyptic setting.

same situation where vampires coexist with humans living in special zones

If you like vampires and fighting, you'll like both

This anime is similar because the main character who is a vampire helps to protect the world and or humans from evil creatures of the underworld. Also the main male characters in both the animes seem to have the same attitude style.
