After watching just about all of the OVAs released in the 1980s, these are the ones I rated 6, meaning I consider them to be decent.

The new anime release format that appeared in the mid-80s brought new opportunities for studios and various works began to be released on videotapes. Some of them were frankly terrible, but some became classics with a recognizable style and aesthetics. I bring to your attention works worth viewing.

The criteria here is simple: Anime released in 2001 or earlier, with under 25,000 MAL Members, and which I've rated a 6 or higher.

A rating of 6 counts for this second Obscurities list given the increased obscurity. A 6 is still an alright score. I've excluded anything that's particularly well-known, like Speed Racer or Voltron, despite both meeting my criteria.

It is perhaps worth noting that I rate things entirely on gut feeling. It's just, "I like that, that was good, it gets a 7.", that's the whole process. I can also find enjoyment in just about anything and there's very little that bothers me.

Best nuns in anime by appearance.

Note:
Some entries are not actually nuns (as noted) but I included them out of popularity and their garb.

Romans 14:11

For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall give praise to God.”

Praise Christ.

Osamu Dezaki was a Japanese anime director.

Dezaki started out as a manga artist while still in high school. In 1963 he joined Mushi Production, which was founded by manga and anime pioneer Osamu Tezuka. He made his debut as a director in 1970 with Ashita no Joe.

Dezaki was known for his distinct visual style, which makes use of split screen, stark lighting, extensive use of dutch angle, and pastel freeze frames that he called "postcard memories", which may be his most famous trademark. They feature a process whereby the screen fades into a detailed "painting" of the simpler original animation. Many of his techniques became popular and came to be seen as special techniques of Japanese animation. He particularly influenced Yoshiaki Kawajiri, Yoshiyuki Tomino, Ryūtarō Nakamura, Kunihiko Ikuhara, Akiyuki Shinbo, and Yutaka Yamamoto.

Rumiko Takahashi, The Manga Queen, is a Mangaka born in 1957 that in 1978 started her career in the pages of Weekly Shounen Sunday, and it's been a constant succes from then. Since there has been too much series from then people tends to don't know what to watch first, and how to watch it.
So i'm here to help you, when you finish reding this guide you'll have the entire data you need to know what to do.

My personal recommendation, start watching Maison Ikkoku, it's her best work. The best way to get to know an author is to start with their best work.

Get into the Olympic spirit with these sport anime! All titles on this list feature sports that appear in the Summer or Winter Olympic Games.

Major sports leagues (football, baseball, basketball, soccer) are excluded to make the list more Olympics-focused. While hockey is also a major sports league, there is only one anime so it was kept.

Depictions of catholicism (christianity) in anime through clergy characters, symbols, locations, etc. All genres/demographics.

(IN PROGRESS) I accept suggestions and questions. Would also probably add why each anime is here.

Trying to include the most possible even if: it's not relevant to the argument, it has a minimal appearance, it's not a explicit reference, just used for the aesthetics, a very bad/inaccurate depiction or blasphemy. Only first seasons, no specific order for now.

Keywords: religion, catholicism, christianity, catholic, christian, god, bible, prayer, nun, father, spirit, jesus, cross, crucifixion, sister, church, temple, holy, saint, crucifix, catolicismo, cristianismo...
