Interest StacksMuch like how the west loves eastern media, the east also loves their share of western media. Anime can be more than the same one trick pony we see time and time again... A medium for varied and complex approaches to storytelling. short anime with less than the standard 12 episodes, including some movies under an hour long and a select few ONA projects This is the kind of stuff you'll want to show to your older relatives or a friend / significant other who isn't into anime in particular but is open to new experiences. Not necessarily to hook them on anime but simply to share a good time together. The "Scotland Loves Anime" film festival takes place annually in Glasgow and Edinburgh. It was started in 2010 and includes the "Golden Partridge" jury award and audience-voted awards. This is an early list that I made and quite frankly it's a mess, I decided to make a more comprehensive thematic series, check them out: List of anime for "elitist". These anime have been considered as "deep" animations by various critics and analysts. a compilation of anime you could convince your friends to watch, anime that doesn't even look like anime, or anime you grew up with because the concept of anime didn't exist yet. push your friends to watch (or admit they watched) anime :D The parameters for this list are as follows: List of anime with attractive aesthetics and story for young and old. They stand out for having a western or remarkable visual aesthetic from the rest. You go to, or use a electronic terminal, "warp", go. Full VR Immersion ensues. Adaptations, sequels, prequels and spin-offs of western films, TV shows and literature in anime format 50 different series from 50 different years. While most of these are my favorites from year to year, I have included some I thought should get a bit more of a spotlight on. It actually took me a lot longer to put this list together than I thought it would, some years had a lot of good picks and it was hard to pick out either a favorite or one that should be highlighted.
