both Furi Kuri and Futakoi Alternative are action packed and totally random the same time. this show will be sure to make you laugh at times. to get a better kick out of this show you might wanna watch futakoi. (futakoi has bearly anything to do with alternative. its just watching the characters in futakoi doing things you would never expect them to in alternative

A young man is shaped by the people around him. Super powered silliness (ala kung-fu cinema)! Conspiracy! Mystery! The tragedy of love! Slice of life. Kure-nai is more serious in tone. Futakoi is more extreme in every way.

Both anime has the same feeling to it. They aren't making sense until the end. And last but not least both story focuses on love.

Futakoi alternative is action packed comedy perfectly mixed with drama. Kara No Kyoukai is action packed psychological drama. These two great series are not really similar in any way, the only similarities are they both contain detectives that investigate, and putting that aside, if you enjoy Ufotable's amazing animation and story telling then you will probably enjoy both series like sweet and salty german kettle popcorn!

Both might not be exactly the same but both have a supernatural theme to both of them, if you find Air interesting you might find Futakoi Alternative interesting. Futakoi Alternative was aired the same year as Air (2005) so they have similar graphics also.

Both series are extremely nice to watch in terms of enjyoment and random stuff kicked in. Storylines, however, are not very similar.

A harem anime seen through a fun-house mirror. Both anime feature a strong and cool male lead voiced by Seki Tomokazu. With absurd humor, random violence, and subtle (or not-so-subtle) parodies.

these shows gave me the same feeling as i watched them and had many similarities from they characters, the action, and similar comedy aspects too about the only difference is the squid but they are both excellent animes.

OK, the relationship this show has with Futakoi Alternative is that it is an alternate universe from its original show (Soul Taker for Nurse Witch Komugi-chan and Futakoi for Futakoi Alternative) . Basically, take the same charecters from each show and throw them into an entirely different environment/universe, and watch the hilarity or such ensue. This has been a favorite trope in anime for years (like all the SD/Chiba specials from the 80's and beyond.) Good for a few laughs.

Similar pace, both have more than a little eccentric characters, somehow keeping an air of realism between all the bizarre impossibilites it continues to throw in.
