The Animation Film Award (アニメーション映画賞) is an award given to the best animated feature film at the Mainichi Film Awards. The award was established to reward large scale cinematic animation, enabling the Oofuji Noburou Award to focus on shorter pieces. This award was first presented in 1989 for Kiki's Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki. Animeby

The Tokyo Anime Awards started in 2002, but was named in 2005. The first, second and third award ceremonies were simply named 'Competition'. The award ceremonies were held at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) until 2013. In 2014, after the merger of the Tokyo International Anime Fair with the Anime Contents Expo and the formation of the AnimeJapan convention, the Tokyo Anime Awards was changed into a separate festival called Tokyo Anime Awards Festival (TAAF). Anime collected in this stack have stories which focus on the struggles of maintaining, repairing, or building family bonds. These relationships should be between the main characters and must be non-romantic in nature. All of these anime are tearjerks in their own merit, you might not cry at all of them, but all of these have a high potential to. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ These are collection of series showcasing characters attempting to grow industrial cash crops for the majority or for large arc of the series. So much crop planting an Ohioan corn farmer would blush. This list contains all movies that aren't related with any anime series. (Pre 2014) These are the family based films and films can be watched together with your family. Who said your parents and sibling can't watch anime? Of course, they can too. As long it's decent XD Jokes aside, here is my collection of animes films that your family might enjoy too. This is the kind of stuff you'll want to show to your older relatives or a friend / significant other who isn't into anime in particular but is open to new experiences. Not necessarily to hook them on anime but simply to share a good time together. The "Scotland Loves Anime" film festival takes place every October in Glasgow and Edinburgh. It was started in 2010 and includes the "Golden Partridge" jury award and audience-voted awards. I have compiled the animes that have achieved a certain quality with their story and animation and are loved by the majority, with my own short titles. If you don't have much time and are looking for an anime movie, you can check this list. Father and mother―once you taught me Everyone knows Studio Ghibli's amazing work, but what about the other studios? Is it true that there's no better salvation than not being born in this world? Is the world that ugly that it's not worth living in? Should I even give it a chance? A list devoted to the subgenre of anime best described as propaganda to make the Japanese have babies. Collection of films and OVAs (and one TV series) that "feel" like Ghibli films, but aren't related to the studio and aren't connected to its canon lineup. Factors considered include story beats and character designs that are often seen in Ghibli works as well as works by Ghibli staff completed for other studios. Flaws... don't go away easily for a lot of people. Whether you're trying to embrace fear, loss, or even trying to fit in when you're different in society really. The cure for so many things is connection and we may think "no one wants to connect with me" but all we need is just to find the right people who appreciate us. Someone who hears our voices, someone who appreciates our existence and accepts us for who we are |
