They have so much in common: * Both are about cats! * Poyo like Chi are found and adopted by a homeless family * Their duration is 3 minutes per episode * Cute, kawaii, heartwarming, comedy and slice of life * And the most important both are anime perfect for cat lovers like me :3 kawaii ne?

Both very adorable shows about cats that have some sort of quirk to them. Bananya is a banana, Poyo is spherical. Both have short episodes, 3 minutes long. Both will make you question your age and cry/gush with how adorable they are.

Two slice of life comedies on an animal having been picked up by a family (a cat in Poyopoyo and a seal in Ashibe) and their everyday life living there. Although the main characters in both differ in age hence showing different academic age groups in the shows, the hyperactiveness of the fun the characters have in both are similar. The demographics of both may differ between the two but there is a lot of fun to be had with what their cute animal main characters get up to in both shows.

Both are about cats interacting with the family they were adopted by and their everyday life, in a very cute and funny way, they are very enjoyable. If you like one for sure you will like the other. Both are a must watch for cat lovers =3.

Both do have such amazingly fat and lovely cats. There are many people who watch Natsume yuujinchou only for Nyanko-sensei. So in Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki the cat is the main hero and is absolutely round. Watch for cute cats :3

Two 3 minute adorable and entertaining shorts anime comedies that has your daily dose of charm and fuzziness. The art style is simple yet charming, the jokes are rapid-fire and both have an earworm opening theme.

I found them cute anime. They're both anime about cats. Both homeless cats.

Short episodes anime centered around domestic pets, despite looking like kid anime, the comedy in both shows can get pretty adult at times.

Both animes revolve around a person taking in an adorable cat (or two!) into the household, and adjust to a normal life with them. Both series' episode lengths are very short, making it very easy to get through the series, especially if you don't have that much time. the only differences would be that Poyo takes place in a country-like setting, Neko Nanka takes place in an aprtment, and it seems like I enjoyed Poyopoyo a bit more than Neko Nanka. Both series are definitely good shows for cat lovers, and for anyone who loves cute little shows.

The daily life of cute cats (anthropomorphic cats at Nyanko Days) and their owners, while showing their interactions with other people.

I originally watched poyopoyo before watching this and I loved nanami immediately: "her voice sounds so familiar and happy and it makes me feel happy" and it has been verified. The same voice actors does the main characters for both shows (no not the cat in poyopoyo, but for the very very lovable owner of the cat. she's just the pet-owner type person). A lot of people were sad about kamisama hajimemashita being only 13 episodes; there are 50 episodes of poyopoyo but they are a lot shorter, (but each episode packs so much action and script it feels like the episode was much longer  read more

Both revolve around a pet and their 'family' as they get into silly mischief. Itoshi follows an average dog as it shows the funny interaction, where the dog can understand her owner but he obviously cannot understand her. It is a interesting style of showing what the dog is thinking but showing to her owner she is just a normal dog doing dog things. Dog owners may relate :P. Poyopoyo is a bit weirder, following a round cat and the episodes are usually very random. Both are fairly short episodes, Itoshi being 12 and Poyo being 3 minute episodes.

Are you are up for some quick laughs? Then Poyopoyo and Haitai Nanafa are good choices. Their humor styles are simple and innocent, featuring a cast of likable characters with cute designs. Also, the episodes are really short, easy to digest.

Short funny adventures with cute pets.

They're both cat-centric short-episode comedies, with offbeat art and jokes. Sometimes more bizarre than amusing, but strangely appealing and with catchy openings. Poyopoyo is a lot more focused on cuteness and philosophy (especially ethics and metaphysics) however, while Neko Rahmen is more like a sitcom with social and consumerism satire.

2 minute shorts with pretty good humour.

Both are series about a different cat, but in Nyanpire the cat is a vampire-cat and in Poypoyo he's a round cat. And both have a short duration time~
