"Ninja Slayer From Animation" and "The Phantom Ship" / "Yuurei Sen" might initially seem quite different, but both tell tales of vengeance that involve powers of the supernatural. These two shows each have their own unique art-styles. "Ninja Slayer From Animation" has an interesting choice of terrible character art that causes everything to look unmoving and unappealing whilst "The Phantom Ship" / "Yuurei Sen" was animated with traditional paper puppets that give it its 2-D look.

You might think that these two are quite different, in which you would be right, as one is a 2-cour television series and the other is a short. However, both tell tales of vengeance that involve powers of the supernatural. So, if that is a theme which interests you, then definitely proceed with watching these two anime. Furthermore, these two shows each have their own unique art-styles. "Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo" has an interesting choice of character art that causes their clothes to look unmoving and flat whilst "The Phantom Ship" was animated with paper puppets that give it its 2-D look.
