Interest StacksIf you've ever seen an anime and thought, "Wow, this anime has really good background art", and "Wow, this episode preview at the end looks amazing!" chances are it was made by Shichiro Kobayashi. An icon of Japanese animation, Kobayashi has had a fruitful career spanning over thirty years as the art director for several iconic shows. While known generally for his vibrant and highly detailed palettes, Kobayashi brought the animation technique known as "postcard memories" or "harmonies" to life alongside director and innovator Osamu Dezaki and character designer Akio Sugino, which are cels of animation superimposed with gouache to give off a lasting image. Shows that Masami Okui has sung in, has been credited in, or is plainfully obvious that it's her. (ex: Akazukin Chacha) A list of magical girl shows released between 1966 and 1998. Made using this awesome tumblr post: https://chiibinomonodamon.tumblr.com/post/99031991319/there-you-go-every-fcking-magical-girl-from Animes that had been aired on any Filipino major channel (ABS-CBN, GMA, TV5 etc.). Not included are the shows that only aired on Animax-Asia. Welcome to my Obscurity series, which I hope will help you delve deeper into the depths of anime, particularly the classics. Compiling older magical girl in case anybody wants to do a deep dive into the genre. Anything before 2000. 1-3 - https://myanimelist.net/stacks/14457 Using this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLZYtFRoMGQ | Magical Girls Timeline 1966-2020] as reference for this stack, I made it in hopes it might help people who are into this genre find anime they haven't watched/didn't know existed yet.. or really just people who'd like to get into something new. This is a compilation of anime adapted from manga that ran in Ribon magazine. Sequels aren't counted, but I do have some entries where it's just a couple of OVAs, where there are two entries. Lot of the longest series are for boys, so here I listed the longest series that are more girls focused as for some reason they are not as well known as the longest boys focused series. A list of all the Mahou Shoujo I love and either have watched or plan to watch because I love this genre so much! Based on Captain-Nisaka's video "Evolution of shoujo animes - 1966-2021 (COMPLET)" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmrW6NNvnDc Shoujo anime that may contain body horror, cosmic horror and various horror elements, serious topics such as rape and suicide. They might use different kind of storytellings most of other shoujo anime doesn't and more likely to have philosophy. Often well developed main characters, old and completed series. Includes all* anime on the Anime+/GRAPH mahou shoujo/magical girl achievement list Retro high fantasy, medieval fantasy and DnD lookalikes. Isekai included. No hentai included. Anime I feel would greatly appeal to fans of Ojamajo Doremi, both old and new. If you're someone already loves Doremi, there's a very strong chance you'll love at least one of these too! Mahou Shoujo is usually/mostly about the friendship of a group of girls going against some type of evil, and believe me, I love friendship based Mahou Shoujo, but I sometimes also like some romance in my shows! Here I'll list some shows that I've watched, and others that I haven't but I've heard they are good! Sorry I can't give that much comments on the ones I haven't watched, but you're welcome to tell me your thoughts! Magical girl talk is always welcome. Once upon a time, before KPI and censorship strikes, these are the list of anime that ever aired on Indonesian TV. |
