Collection of historical semi-realistic or realistic works that detail the historical events of Europe or daily life of people in European historical context.

Mystery anime that center around a series of deaths, assaults, or disappearances that are somehow connected. Possibly feature: serial killers, organized crime, supernatural elements, etc.

Episodic mysteries will be excluded if the string of crimes is limited to its own arc and not a part of an overarching narrative.

𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆: These anime feature royalty: members of a royal family such as King, Queen, Prince, or Princess.

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹: The setting of a historical anime takes place at some point in Earth's past. The level of dedication to portraying the lifestyles, societies, and technologies of past periods and peoples accurately or believably can vary greatly between different works.

𝗜𝘀𝗲𝗸𝗮𝗶: Isekai is a fantasy genre where a person from Earth is transported to, reborn, or trapped in a parallel universe or fantasy world.

Shows, OVAs and movies with Historical European fashion, setting, or both.

A selection of shows that centralizes on the idea of evil, whether as a direct presence or a symbolic representation, that revels in themes of hostility, corruption, debauchery and death that ultimately, cause the grievous and tragic collapse of one's sense of humanity. Due to its dark nature, this list is unfiltered and therefore, may display lurid elements that are problematic. But if you're here to seek the thrills of violence and the spills of blood, then witness the dance of the Devil.

This is a list of all the anime shows that aired on Animax (Portugal). A defunct portuguese channel dedicated to all things anime.

So this stack is not intended to offend anyone, it's a list made from my observations in the community about some works that maybe at some point were popular or had their moments of fame but nowadays very few people talk about.

Animes set in medieval, ancient, or fantasy worlds that focus on royalty, aristocracy and internal conflicts; kidnappings, rebellions, war, politics, arranged marriages, revenge, assassination attempts, etc.

Animax was a Spanish subscription television channel of Japanese origin, distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment under the international Animax brand. It was launched as a channel on April 12, 2008.

On December 4, 2013, it was confirmed that the channel definitively ceased its broadcasts on December 31, 2013, due to its abandonment in recent months.

Animax Spain broadcast popular series and movies and, in some cases, I dare say that it had better programming than the Latin American version.
