yo I came by to just say hi again, but I saw a comment about Good Omens here and I gotta say.... I love Good Omens... I always loved the nice gay angel-demon story, the post-apocalyptic fun trip and Adam and his gang of mischief kid friends. Have you read other Pratchett stuff? or are u more into Neil Gaiman?

They all seem very interesting! Specially Redshirts XD I've always liked shows/books where the characters are self conscious of the plot and them being "just characters" ^^ One of my favourite books/dramas is "Six Characters in Search of an Author", by Pirandello, which is a metatheatrical play about the authors and their characters :)
And I loved the Disney Alice in Wonderland (not read the book yet ^^") so I suppose I'd love The Phantom Tollbooth as well!

Naah, why should you be childish for liking sci-fi? ^^ And after all.. we're in a Anime Forum.. so we should all be childish and escapist! XD (well, I am XD)

Pride and Prejudice <3 I loved Elizabeth :D Yeah, Classics are quite often very good.. well, they're classics after all! ^^ They're also much cheaper than modern literature to buy.. which is good too v.v

Good! A fellow Potter fan! :) I've read the books six-seven times.. each (yeah, I'm probably a little extreme ^^").. I also subscribed to Pottermore, J.K.Rowling's official website, but they put me in Hufflepuff -_-
Ahah, I know the feeling.. even I sometimes just buy a book and then don't read it for months!
Anyway LoTR is very good, but to have an idea of what you're heading for you could read The Hobbit before (if you haven't yet)! :)

I think a genuine issue is when you bring up good points there is a tendency for them to get ignored. Somehow that's a common thing in the community. It's unfortunate, but yeah people here are kind of purposefully obtuse about stuff. All you can do is what you did really. Who knows, it might have been helpful to some people silently lurking in the thread and feeling bad.

Saw the mess in that 'trap' thread. Good on you for trying to educate some people at least. It is a Hard Life on MAL.

Bradbury is among my favourites too! I specially liked The Martian Chronicles!
As for me I really like Orwell (Animal Farm and 1984 :Q__), Bulgakov (The Master and Margarita is wonderful!), If This Is A Man, Zeno's Conscience, Pride and Prejudice, Siddharta, Les Miserables, The Count of Monte Cristo, To Kill A Mockinbird, Dubliners, Catch-22... and many others.. too many to count! XD
I'm also a huge Potterhead and The Lord of the Ring fan ^^

Yeah I just remember playing it when i was younger LOL played with friends once and after playing for over 3 hours I was just like fuck this game you win i'm never playing this again.

Everyone needs friends being lonely isnt' fun you can't play monopoly without at least 2 people even though its an evil game.

While you do have one friend you should have at least one more xD so I sent a friend request o3o/
