 During the "Yuri!!! on Stage" event that took place on Saturday, it was announced that the original sports anime series Yuri!!! on Ice will receive a new film.Yuri!!! on Ice is an anime created by mangaka Mitsurou Kubo and director Sayo Yamamoto that was produced by studio MAPPA. It centers around figure skating and was broadcast during Fall 2016 for 12 episodes. The series won categories for Animation of the Year (Television) and Fan Award at the 2017 Tokyo Anime Awards. | I think this is a smart direction for the series to go. Given it's incredible sales and massive fanbase it would be ridiculous to not capitalize and put out new content for this series. But instead of rushing into a new full season and risking a mediocre production, they're going to ride the wave of enthusiasm and put out a movie (with movie budget animation *_*), which should be able to tie over the fanbase if/until they decide to do another season later on. Looking forward to it! |

Just ignore and go to watch your favorite series. Girls (and boys that like yaoi) can like the anime and don't be "fujoshis", I really enjoyed this anime and i'm not a fujoshi. You guys can have your 20 ecchis, harems and fanservice per season, but girls can't have yaoi/yaoi fanservice? What kind of logic is that? |
